Gia Tsertsvadze, Georgian Lieutenant Colonel George gave his first extensive interview to broadcasting company Rustavi 2 .

The Georgian soldier has discussed reasons of prosecution of the August war and Ukrainian war participants by Russia.

As he has underlined,. there are two reasons- first- Russia wants to obtain information on military operations, including the August war. and Second- Russia wants to take revenge for all the soldiers who fought against Russian forces in August 2008.

" Russia"s task is to arrest people who have had or have any information about Georgia"s security. I mean strategic facilities, military units, structures, etc. Everything that is Georgian secret. Another consideration is that they want to punish the people who actively participated in wars against Russia, "- he said.
