During police control raid, besides inspection, the law enforcement regardless of the will of the citizens, took their photoes. The Police during the so-called raids during the last few months with their personal mobile phone, without permission, photographed some citizens.

The Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center has challenged the law on police control in the Constitutional Court.
According to the law the police raid is carried out in case there are reasonable grounds to believe that a crime or offense have been committed or will be committed .

Personal Data Protection Inspector does not know why and whether legally the police collects photographs.

The Interior Ministry did not respond to fact.
