Ministry of Defense confirmed the release of 2 thousand 250 people. According to the opposition,  the number of already dismissed people and those who are still to be released form their working places reaches up to 10 thousand.

 Dismissed employees held a protest action in front of the Ministry of Defense and demanded the Minister`s resignation.   Recently, the Ministry of Defence has made explanations.

 Deputy Minister said the process started  2 months ago. According to Nukri Gelashvili,  approximately 32 million have been saved , which will be spent on infrastructure projects.
