The wife of a Georgian soldier captured in Abkhazia, Lali Basaria demands the release of Giorgi Lukava and continues the dry hunger strike at the State Chancellery .

"Warriors who defended the country in time of war, are called killers today. I will not stop the hunger strike until the hotline is switched on and I am given a chance to speak to him, "- said the wife of Lukava.

Yesterday the representatives of the government administration and the Office of the State Minister met with Lali Basaria but later they made no comments.

Later, the Prime Minister"s press office issued a statement for the media.

"The release of Giorgi Lukava is a priority for the authorities. However, we deny the information spread by Lukava`s wife that the Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has made any statement regarding the terms of Lukava`s release," - is said in the statement.
