Archbishop Jacob who arrived in Berlin refrained form discussing the details of attempted poisoning of a high-ranking cleric. He said that he should get familarized with additional information .

"Until the investigation is going on, I do not want to say anything," - the bishop said.

He said he did not know the reason for the arrest of Father Giorgi , whether it was poisoning attemp or something else.

"If the prosecutor"s office said it , probably the case will be solved. I know one thing, that the Patriarch`s protection was strengthened protection, i.e. he is protected by the state security service, "- the bishop said.

As to poisoning attempt, the cleric also said that he could not blame a concrete individual , though, if it was true, more people should have been involved in the case.

"If someone was to do something, he could not have done it alone," - the bishop said.
