The defense is deprived a right of defending - the public Defender made an announcement while speaking about the case of Deacon Giorgi Mamaladze.

Uacha Nanuashvili believes that the defense side and the Prosecutors" Office are not in unequal conditions, which he said, is a serious violation.

" I hope that in the next few days many things will become clearer. The most important is that the defense should have an opportunity to defend this suspect, because we have witnessed a situation, when they are deprived of this right. In the sense that the prosecution has the right to speak about l details of the case and the defense does not have right to do it. This is a grave crime,"- states the Ombudsman.

The Public Defender has responded to the criticism about publication of the case"s contest.
" It is nobody"s business what will voice the Ombudsman ,- said Ucha Nanuashvili.
