The Washington Post has published an article about the rally in support of Rustavi 2 and the freedom of the media The article says that thousands of people came out in support of the opposition television.

 
As reported by the Associated Press agency, thousands of Georgians have rallied in the capital in support of the country"s opposition-minded television station that they suspect is about to be transferred to a more government-friendly owner. As the agency states, Rustavi2 is Georgia`s most popular TV station and the Sunday demonstration on Tbilisi`s main avenue attracted people from a wide political spectrum.
 
BBC has also responded to the rally in support of Rustavi 2 and free media . The author explains that the protesters assembled in connection with the decision to be issued by the court on Rustavi 2 case .
 
Journalists, opposition parties and non-governmental organizations participated in the rally.
