The son of the National Forum Board Member, Avto Davitadze has been beaten. The accident occurred late at night and the family is accusing the head of the Vake-Saburtalo police .

According to the family the incident occurred at one of the cafes, but at that time Giorgi Davitadze was not there. He later went to the Vake-Saburtalo police, after finding out that his friends had been detained.

As the family states , the police chief Giorgi Galdava personally took Giorgi Davitadze into the building, where he was beaten. As he told his friends, he was abused physically personally by Galdava and this fact was witnessed by three policemen. Davitadze was taken to hospital.

Doctors have not yet commented on his condition. So far, the Interior Ministry has not commented on the case.
