A discussion of applications about new tariff will soon start at Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission. The Price of natural gas may be increased from summer.

" The Commission starts to regulate tariff of gas sector. The tariffs were not recalculated since 2005, This is long time,- states Gocha Shonia, a representative of GNERC .

Members of United National Movement stated that rise of price was expectable.

" I think that increase in tariffs will be inevitable. This is a direct result of what is happening to Georgian economy, what happens with GEL,"- said Salome Samadashvili.

European Georgia believes that increased tariff is a result of the government"s economic policy.
