The lawyers of Deacon Giorgi Mamaladze have addressed the Chief Prosecutor`s Office with an official letter requesting the interrogation of the accused.

According to the lawyers , the deacon is ready to testify, and then as they say, many questions will be answered. GIorgI Mamaladze will also speak about the firearm removed his apartment which according to the lawyer does not belong to the accused.

According to the defense, is not likely that the meeting of Father Giorgi with the Patriarch and the clergy will be possible.

Despite the request of the accused , the Patriarch and Synod members refused to meet with the accused Archpriest

Attorney Mikhil Ramishvili assumes that the prosecution is trying to impose their own opinion on the Patriarchate.

Ramishvili also states that the defence is in unequal positions compared to the prosecution.
