"First of all, I would like to inform you that Michael Botkoveli lied, when he said that I was not at the Patriarchate. Since the day of our return from Germany I am at the Patriarchate and keep my duties,"- said Soso Okhanashvili.

A Head of the Patriarch"s personal Security Guard does not confirm his resignation. He has made an announcement today.

According to Mr. Okhanashvili he intends to hold a news conference, where his decision will be announced.

News about his resignation was spread today. The Patriarch’s secretary, Father Michael Botkoveli said that the Patriarch bodyguard, Soso Okhanashvili has not come to the Patriarchate since His Holiness returned from Berlin to Georgia.
