"Father Giorgi`s life is at risk," - Mikheil Ramishvili

"Father Giorgi`s life is at risk," - the statement was made by Father Giorgi Mamaladze`s lawyer upon leaving of the so-called Matrosov Prison.

Mikheil Ramishvili called on the Public defender to visit the detained Archpriest over the weekend.

According to the lawyer, the prosecutor`s office rejected the request of Father Giorgi and his lawyers` to hold the questioning on the same day.

"They started trading saying that it was too late started and wanted us to agree on some other time," - said Ramishvili and added that "the prosecutor"s office does not care about questioning of Father Giorgi."

According to lawyers, there is a danger that during this weekend Father Giorgi would be subjected to pressure. According to the lawyers the life of Mamaladze is under risk due to the statements that he is going to make.
