The Rally in support of opposition leader, Alexander Navalny in the center of Moscow ended with the arrest of protesters. Earlier, the protesters clashed with government supporters.

Opposition rally was unauthorized and demonstrators were protesting against the arrest of their leader.

Later,the government supporters appeared at the opposition rally. They said that they will not allow the Ukrainian Maidan in Moscow. The police did not let the supporters to continue the rally and arrested about a dozen of Navalny"s supporters.

Alexei Navalny was arrested two days ago and he was sentenced to house arrest.
