"There was shooting from the outside, then the bullet hit the bed and while I was calling the police station, I heard the sound of the shooting," recalls one of the eyewitnesses the incident in the center ofSupsa last night.

As he says, he is now being treated in the hospital and there were two other patients with him in the ward when the bullets first hit the ward window and then one bullet hit the bed of one of the patients.

According to him, the police came to the scene very soon. Apparently, a drunken man was shooting from a residential building on the opposite side of the hospital. However, the cause is unknown.

There has been no official comment from the hospital yet.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, investigation of the case is under Article 187 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
