Indian businessman was not allowed in Georgia again- Ombudsman`s representative attended the procedure

 

Representative of the Public Defender Beka Javakhadze attended the procedure of announcing the refusal on entering the country to Indian businessman Akbar Kusher. Beka Javakhadze notes that the article by which the businessman was returned back does not specify what is beyond this paragraph. He noted that the MIA possesses information about this paragraph because the patrol police issues this act.

Law enforcers acted on one of the sub-paragraphs of paragraph 11 of the non-stateless persons, where the cause is not specified.

"This act, which restricts citizens from entering the country, will be issued by the patrol police. Accordingly, the MIA, according to the rule and order, has information about what exactly this means, "- Beka Javakhadze says.

The representative of the Public Defender states that the interview with the Indian businessman was held in his presence, when he was told about the refusal of the procedure. According to him, no pressure was exerted.

Indian businessman has returned back in two days for the second time. The businessman connects this fact with his business activities while his lawyer criticizes the government for such actions.
