The UN Security Council discussed the crisis in Ukraine.
The US permanent representative to the United Nations, Samantha Power delivered a speech and o said that Vladimir Putin last week introduced his own peace plan to Petro Poroshenko which actually actually annules the obligations imposed by Minsk agreement and legitimazes the territories captured by separatists.
Samantha Power drew thw analogy with South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
Ttraditionally, washington was blamed by the Russian side. Vitali Churkin, permanent representative of Russia to the UN evaluated the tension in Ukraine as "the United States of provocation" .
The Ukrainian side also addressed the Council meeting.
