Leila Mustafayeva, wife of Afgan Mukhtarli and Georgian lawyer of Azeri journalist Archil Chopikashvili left the Police Main Division several minutes ago.

Both of them said after a nearly five-hour meeting that there are no chances that the case will be investigated. Leila Mustafeva describes in detail a video record.

Today, I got acquainted with the materials and I cannot see signs of real investigation, - Azerbaijani journalist Afghan Mukhtarli’s wife Leila Mustafayeva said after leaving the main department of the Interior Ministry. 

According to her, she saw video recordings and other materials, "although these recordings do not give any tangible results."

"There are two videos showing Afghan. I watched only one video footage as there were some technical problems with the second one. What we saw in the video is how Afghan took bus no 4. The video is recorded at 18:00. They are investigating the part of the video which shows how Afghan was coming back home. They are not investigating the part, when Afghan leaves home. I told them that they should find out whether Afghan was followed by anybody. They have not done it. Today I could not see the signs of real investigation,"- said Mustafayeva.

According to her, 40 days have already passed since the detention of her husband, but the investigation has not yielded any results yet.
