Fire in the Holy Trinity Cathedral was intentional - Dean accused of the so called cyanide case made another scandalous statement from Matrosov prison. Father Giorgi Mamaladze told the lawyer that the country"s biggest temple was set on fire a year and 4 months ago for the sake ofstealing precious things and gold.

The fire became a new cause of mutual accusations between Archbishop Jacob and the detained Dean. At the last session of the cyanide case, the prosecutor told reporters that father Giorgi was trying to grab 2 million GEL for the restoration and repair of theburned temple.
