Giorgi Mgevrishvili, the Minister of Internal Affairs claims that 343 witnesses have been interrogated in regard to the case of the Azerbaijani Journalist- Afgan Mukhtarly. The announcement has been made at the special briefing.

According to the Minister, 46 video footage is removed from 10 objects. All drivers of the mini-bus N 4 have been interrogated as well and all of them say that they have not seen anything suspicious on May 29.

According to the Interior Minister, no other witnesses speak about suspicious facts.

Video footage on the territory of Afgan Mukhtarly"s house have been removed as well and there are no records where the Azeri journalist is fixed.

According to Mgebrishvili, 61 employees were interviewed at the Lagodekhi border checkpoint, who say that no incident or suspicious circumstance were indicated on the territory on May 29.

According to the Minister of Internal Affairs, the investigation is still ongoing.
