Poroshenko threatens violators of the ceasefire agreement with a "smack in the teeth"

A meeting between Petro Poroshenko, the current president of Ukraine, and Ukrainian law enforcement agencies lasted well into last night. In the meeting, Poroshenko claimed that Ukrainian forces have successfully repulsed attacks on all fronts against the pro-Russian seperatists. Poroshenko threatened the violaters of the ceasefire agreement, “We have agreed our actions, reserves have been pulled. If the enemy doesn’t want to observe the ceasefire regime, we will give them a smack in the teeth. Across all front lines we are firmly holding our positions despite the fact that enemy attacks are 10 times more intensive than before," - Poroshenko said.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov claimed that the trolley-bus attack in Donetsk is a Ukrainian provocation. "Another shocking crime in south-eastern Ukraine, where Ukrainian forces killed and wounded civilians in a rocket attack on public transport. This is a crime against humanity and a provocation, which must be objectively investigated."The UN Security Council has demanded an immediate investigation.

Yesterday, an OSCE monitoring mission published a preliminary report stating that the artillery shooting was carried out in the northwest.Amnesty International assessed the strike as a "breach of humanitarian law".

Meanwhile, shooting continues in Donetsk, where a grenade explosion killed a 9 year-old child. It is also reported that 20 Ukrainian soldiers still remain in Donetsk airport.
