On August 8, at the 9th anniversary of the Russia-Georgia war, the movement "Strength is in Unity" " plans to make a live chain near the occupation line. They will hold a peaceful demonstration on the motorway, located near the Karapilla-Khurvaleti section of the highway. Anyone can participate in the demonstartion.

According to the organizers, it will be a kind of message that Georgia will not tolerate annexation of its territories. They also pay tribune to the memory of those killed in the war.
