9 years since the battle of Shindisi. The Georgian heroes who died in the war will once again be remembered. In memory of the heroes,flowers will be laid at the memorial in Shindisi by the members of the government and the legislative body.

At the place where 17 Georgian heroes died, their family members and relatives have gathered from the morning.

The battle lasted 45 minutes in Shindisi on August 11, 2008. Only 4 soldiers survived the clash. The Russians used almost all kinds of weapons against Georgian soldiers.
