A meeting of the Legal Issues Committee and "Bar Association" is underway in Kobuleti. It is about the amendments to the Law on Attorneys, including the prohibition of issuing the information without the client`s confirmation, the introduction of the qualification exams for the lawyers and the beginning of disciplinary persecution against them.

The meeting is being held with financial support of the US Agency for International Development.

"It will be a very good change in which we want to support for professional and institutional strengthening of lawyers. By these amendments we try to add additional new articles to the law, provided by the Bar Association"s initiative, "- Eka Beselia said.
