Azerbaijan and Turkey will assist Georgia in fire extinguishing activities.

It is reported that negotiations with Turkey are already over and helicopters equipped with night vision devices are expected to arrive.

At this moment a special headquarters session is being held in Tsaghveri, on the issue of natural disaster. The headquarters has been created recently and is composed of representatives of the Georgian government, Minister of Internal Affairs, Minister of Infrastructure and Minister of Environment.

At this moment the meeting is underway in order to define effective steps to prevent fire from spreading.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili has not commented to the media yet.

It was reported that the Prime Minister and the government members will meet with local population.
