The candidates who will participate in the competition for the European Court of Human Rights have been announce. Nine judges have expressed desire to participate in the competition.

Ioseb Bachiashvili, Lali Phaphiashvili, Konstantive Vardzelashvili, Otar Sichinava, Tamar Alania, Luizqa Khitarishvili, Konstantine Korkelia and Nino Bekauri will face the special Commission.

The commission will select five candidates of the European Court of Justice.

Lali Phaphiashvili and Otar Sichinava are the judges in the case of the broadcasting company Rustavi 2.

Nino Bekauri is the judge of the Supreme Court.

Tamar Alania and Konstantine Vardzelashvili participate in the contest for the second time.
