United National Movement (UNM) has spread a "scandalous video" in which citizen Eka Khushitashvili insulted and threatened police officers. The video showed what at first looked to be a routine traffic stop. The traffic stop diverged from normal however when the police officer asked Khushitashvili to see her driver"s license. In response Khushitashvili insulted the police officer and then called her relatives who appear to be powerful law enforcement figures.

One of the names mentioned by Khushitashvili in her phone call was Zviad Jankharashvili.

UNM members say that the times of Eduard Shevardnadze are back, referring to a period known for widespread corruption among law enforcement agencies and the government.

UNM Member Zurab Japaridze claimed that the policeman in the video who was insulted and threatened has been dismissed.
