Residence permit of Mikheil Saakashvili`s brother in Ukraine canceled

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine made a statement regarding the detention of the brother of Mikheil Saakashvili, the third president of Georgia.

According to the Director of Communications Department Artem Shevchenko, the brother of Mikheil Saakashvili was taken to the immigration department of Ukraine.

According to him, David Saakashvili should leave the country because his residence permit in Ukraine is canceled.

"We have not detained him, Kiev`s national police brought a Georgian citizen to immigration service," - Shevchenko said.

According to him, David Saakashvili should leave the territory of Ukraine due to the cancellation of his residence permit in the country.
