Murder threat against Akhalkalaki District Election Commission Chairperson

The threat of the murder against Hashim Maragozyan, Chairman of Akhalkalaki DEC - briefing was held at the CEC on the incident.

According to the Central Election Administration, the head of the district was threatened by former MP Samvel Petrosyan and his son.

According to CEC spokesperson Ana Mikeladze, the confrontation started after the Petrosian`s representative was not allowed to file appllicaton instead of several candidates for the PEC. The CEC claims that the materials will be handed over to the Prosecutor"s Office.
