Two firefighters were injured on Kokhta mountain during fire fighting works in Kakheti. They were brought down from the mountain at this moment. Nikoloz Siradze, Director of the Emergency Management Agency, said the employees were slightly injured during a stone crash.

The fight against the disaster continues. The fires are raging in 3 regions of Georgia at this time. Hundreds of firefighters, residents, volunteers, heavy vehicles and aviation are fighting fire in the most impassable areas. In Tusheti, the fires are so diffiult to reach that rescuers need to use horses to bring water to the mountains. Similar situation is also in Khulo.

Due to the difficult terrain 400 fighters of the Special Task Force, the firefighter and 50 members of the Special Forces unit were brought by helicopters to the Alpine zone.

In contrast to Artani, the situation in Tusheti, Khakhabo is under control as , the main fire is localized.
In Khulo, on the Shavnabada mountain, strong wind has created new fires. One helicopter and live force are working on the ground. Another helicopter is expected in Adjara.
