National currency continues to impair

National currency continues to impair. According to the official rate, one dollar today is 2.49 GEL and euro is 2.97 GEL.

In the last ten days, the gel has been depreciated by almost 15 tetri against the dollar.

The government does not consider the current situation alarming.

Experts say that if the rate of impairment is maintained, the next stage will probably be the increase of prices.
