The Prime Minister of Georgia has attended the solemn reception dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the restoration of Ukraine"s independence.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili has addressed the audience and spoke about the difficult path of independence of Georgia and Ukraine.
He drew attention to the European values, the commitment to democratic standards and the importance of reforms.
"The relationship between Georgia and Ukraine is based on common history and values, mutual trust. Occupation of our territories undermines strategic balance in Eastern Europe and threatens security throughout the Black Sea region. Nevertheless, with the strong support of the international community, we will restore the territorial integrity of our countries through peaceful means,"- said Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.
