Parliamentary majority will adopt constitutional amendments after the Venice Commission"s preliminary conclusion

 

The parliamentary majority will wait for the Venice Commission"s preliminary conclusions and only after that will adopt the constitutional amendments. Tamar Chugoshviii, the Vice-Speaker of Parliament has made a comment about it. According to her, Georgian Dream does not expect critical conclusion from the Venice Commission .
"The Venice Commission has adopted the text of the amendments adopted by the second reading, before the third hearing we will receive a preliminary version of the Venice Commission"s report. This version will be public, "said Tamar Chugoshvili.

The preliminary conclusion of the Venice Commission should be published in about a week. The Parliament has the right to adopt constitutional amendments by the third reading, at the end of September.
