In Guria, Ozurgeti-Ureki main connecting highway will change direction. The locals say that this decision is the initiative of the former prime minister, Bidzina Ivanishvili, because the surrounding area - the main road, its right side and the tall trees on the ground belong to Ivanishvili.

The workers involved in the works say that the change of the direction of the central motorway is carried out by the state order, but the Roads Department says they do not know who and why is building a new road in Guria.

Besides incircling Bidzina Ivanishvili"s giant trees in the fence, as it turns out, the railway platform is also in Ivanishvili` way. Accordingly, the platform was demolished and a new building was built 100 meters away.

The works are still carries out by the company "Zimo", which has been involved in transporting Bidzina Ivanishvili`s hundred -year-old trees.

Representatives of the local opposition consider the construction of a wall and alternative roadunacceptable. They point to unjustifiable damage to natural resources, indicating illegal use of state resources and criminal actions.
