The Georgian side requested the extradition of the third president of Georgia in response to the question of Ukraine. Minister of Justice made this statement today. Tea Tsulukiani states that Ukraine was interested in whether or not the Georgia`s request for Mikheil Saakashvili`s arrest.was still in force

The Chief Prosecutor`s Office of Georgia claimed two days ago that the Georgian side addressed the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, demanding extradition of Saakashvili. Today, the Prosecutor`s Office explained that the third request for Saakashvili was sent to Kyiv in response to the question of Ukrainian colleagues.

Georgian lawyer of Mikheil Saakashvili believes that the Georgian government is afraid of extradition of the third president in Georgia. According to Beka Basilaia, the official agencies now try to charge the Ukrainian side with responsibility.
