After the crossing of border by Georgia`s third president Mikheil Saakashvili, the Ukrainian Interior Minister, Arsen Avakov, held a special briefing on the developments on Ukraine-Poland border.

He described the developments in Ukraine yesterday as a "premeditated provocation".

"Every person who crossed the border illegally during yesterday`s events has to appear in the Shegin checkpoint to pass an appropriate procedure, some of the journalists and foreigners have already done as they have realized what kind of situation they got involved in. The National Police initiated a criminal case and demanded that the all participants a come to the pokiceto testify. It will be good if they do it themselves . if they do not do it , all participants will be sent to a relevant demand starting from today, the General Prosecutor`s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs will qualify yesterday`s events as a state crime, "- said Avakov.

He also said that during the confrontation between citizens and border guards yesterday, 16 people were injured.
