The Audit Office informs the Civil Sector about the results of monitoring the finances and donations of political parties. At the meeting, the auditors have presented problems identified during the pre-election period.

According to the acting general auditor of the State Audit Office of Georgia, , the donation of "Georgian Dream" has reached 7 million 343 thousand from July 1 to September 12.

" European Georgia" has received donation amounted to 323 thousand 675 GEL , "Alliance of Georgian Patriots" - 15, 600 GEL. "New Political Center Girchy" - GEL 15,300, "National Democratic Party" - 12,204 GEL, National Forum - 9215 GEL and " United National Movement" has received 5,432 GEL as donations.

According to Nino Lomjaria, the audit department has questions about income of 101individuals. 14 of them are summoned for questioning.

"On the basis of the received information we have summoned 14 individuals. 6 out of them are donors of "European Georgia" and 8 "Georgian Dream" , "said Nino Lomjaria.

Together with donations from parties, the Audit Office also studies several issues. Specifically, the issue of spreading misinformation in the social network and the issue of dissemination of political content.
