The Ukrainian border guards failed to submit evidence of illegal crossing of the border by the third president of Georgia in Lviv district court. The trial was postponed. On Friday, the border guards will have to submit additional evidence.

According to Mikheil Saakashvili`s lawyer, the issue of postponing the process was agreed in advance. The opposition leader himself claimed that he and his supporters did not break the law.

Prior to the trial, the Special Forces were brought to Mtinski District Court n Lvov district. Armed law enforcers have been placed inside and outside the court. Mikheil Saakashvili`s supporters and opponents with posters.gathered at the court building.

Mikheil Saakashvili`s teammate Davit Sakvarelidze was also questioned at Lviv police today. The police summoned the former deputy chief prosecutor of Ukraine in connection with Ukraine-Poland events. He is chatged with illegal crossing of the border, arranging a group disorder and resisting the law enforcers.
