The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Central Election Commission have signed a memorandum on holding the local elections in a peaceful and secure environment. The agreement was signed by Giorgi Mghebrishvili and Tamar Zhvania.

The sides say that special trainings will be conducted, which will facilitate informing law enforcement agencies on election issues and ensure fair elections.

"The Memorandum of Understanding implies coordinated work of our agencies in both pre-election and election periods,- "said Mghebrishvili.
