The son of journalist Eliso Kiladze, Davit Kharshiladze is free, the court has finally acquitted him. However, along with Kharshiladze`s case, the prosecutor`s office suspended the investigation against the policemen who was accused of planting drugs on Khariladze.

The editor of the "Kronika Plus", after her sons trial, said that her family members were prosecuted because her journalistic activities and materials published against the high officials of the Interior Ministry and Security Service.

Eliso Kiladze calls on the Minister of Internal Affairs to punish the law enforcers who took part in the detention of her son.She is going to sue 9 policemen.

The ruling team categorically rules out that Eliso Kiladze`s son was detained for political revenge. The opposition is demanding the resignation of the Interior Minister and states that after the decision of the court, the first person in charge is responsible.
