Collapse of the new bridge in Zahesi is caused by damage of GWP"s high-pressure pipe. A head of the supervision department of the Tbilisi City Hall is on the spot. According to Givi Kublashvili, GWP will compensate the damage.

The new bridge was built in Zahesi in April and the Tbilisi City Hall allocated 1 million GEL from the budget for reconstruction of the old bridge, though the tender winner company did not perform the works. The old bridge rehabilitation was not implemented.

As for the new bridge, 4 million GEL was spent for its rehabilitation.
