The situation in Ukraine and Georgia was the underlining point of Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Tamar Beruchashvili`s meeting with US Vice President Joseph Biden. The meeting was attended by foreign ministers of the Eastern Partnership countries. The parties have unanimously condemned Russia`s actions in Ukraine and Georgia.

The meeting has once again confirmed the US support for the territorial integrity of these countries. The sides also discussed the neccessity of sanctions against Russia and the issue of visa liberalization.
