The Center for Law Enforcement Reform calls for the protection of Aleko Samushia"s family, the scandalous interviewee. According to the official information, Zviad Kuprava, the head of the organization has already addressed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Kuprava has provided additional information to the law enforcement agencies today to explain why the family of the security agent needs a security guarantee.

According to Zviad Kuprava, after special operations in occupied Abkhazia, Aleko Samushia and his family had bodyguards ,they used to live in a conspiracy apartment, However the protection was removed in 2012 and they were evicted from the house.

"Since the news about Aleko Samushia"s story in" Courier ", their security is far more vulnerable today. Aleko Samushia"s family faces a real threat , "Zviad Kuprava said.

Samushia is currently serving his sentence in Gldani Establishment No. 6, where he was transferred from the Matrosov prison after his interview with Courier.
