Father Giorgi Mamaladze went on strike today. The Archpriest refuses from food and medicines.

He made a decision due to a restriction to make a phone call.

According to the lawyers, Father Giorgi Mamaladze wanted to call his relatives, but he could not get in touch. The prison administration replied that there should be a problem with connection. However Father Giorgi"s attempts to contact his other family members were unsuccessful as well.
Representatives of the Public Defender have arrived to the prison.
