The Holy Synod session will be held in the Patriarchate of Georgia. The meeting was scheduled unexpectedly. It is known only that the members of the Synod will gather at 12:00 today.

Issues to be discussed are not known. According to unofficial information, the conversation will be about the events surrounding the church and the aftermath of the so-called cyanide scandalous case. It is not excluded that the issue of Archbishop Peter is also on the agenda.

Secretary of the Patriarchate excludes discussing the cyanide case at today`s sitting. According to Michael Botkoveli, the issues that will be discussed are known only to the bishops.
