Alongside with 1900 sq.m.in the center of Tbilisi, Bidzina Ivanishvili also received the part of Gudiashvili Street. It turned out that besides a municipal parking lot the former prime minister was given a part of Gudiashvili street by the decision taken by the City Council .

Information that Bidzina Ivanishvilis company became an owner of the street was confirmed by the cadastral code indicated in the agreement between the City Hall and the company "Tbilisi City".

The opposition claims that the majority of the City Council , who has allienated the territory, violated the organic law on self-governance.

Tbilisi government claims that the area was sold to the private investor in the borders that were registered in 2007 by the municipality.

According to the law, in order to sell part of street, it needed 2/3 of votes of MPs, or 34 votes are needed, but yesterday, 29 MPs voted for the transfer of the street to Ivanishvili, which may be the basis for annulling the decision.

The opposition plans to sue the decision in the court.
