The Prosecutor"s Office has detained two more persons for inhuman treatment and torture in a penitentiary establishment.

The case concerns the detention of opposition representatives during the protest rallies held in May 2011. According to the investigation, 14 persons were insulted in prisons.

The detainees are the head of the Kvareli penitentiary institution and his deputy.
