Georgian opposition has filed a joint suit against the City Council"s decision and appealed to the City Court. The MPs demands the abolition of handing territories near the Pushkin Square and in Tabori Mountain, to Bidzina Ivanishvili"s company.

According to Marika Datukishvili, the member of the faction United National Movement, the appeal concerns to two decisions. One of them is lifting of zonal status for these areas and the second is the alienation of lend.

According to the chairperson of the faction "Movement for Freedom - Tbilisi", this decision was taken without a quorum. According to Mamuka Akhvlediani, all norms have been violated.
