Besik Bugianishvili, the judge of the so-called Cyanide Case has been interrogated by the Prosecutor"s Office. Reportedly the questions were about the public hearings and the closed court trials. The prosecutor"s office launched an investigation after the story aired by Rustavi 2, where a part of Shorena Tetruashvili"s testimony was recorded.
"I have nothing to hide from the Prosecutor"s Office. I gave testimony and explained that I have not handed the material to anyone. Only the Judge, the secretary of the session, the prosecution and the defence sides have access to the protocol of the closed court session, "said Bugianishvili.
The judge has responded to the refusal of Giorgi Mamaladze"s lawyers to give a testimony.
"I"m just surprised that the defence did not give testimony. I can not explain what does it mean,"- he said.
