"European Georgia" will not participate in the work of the Constitutional Commission, which should be created in relation to amendments to the Constitution. The statement was made by the leader of the party Davit Bakradze at a special briefing today.

According to Davit Bakradze, the parliamentary majority has explained in advance that the commission will not be followed by any substantial change and the commission will only work on the preliminary announced four points.

As Bakradze says the ruling team closed the doors of the dialogue until the dialogue started. According to him, "European Georgia" believes that working in the commission is useless.

According to Davit Bakradze, all four amendments are positive, though all of them serve to corrected mistakes, made by the "Georgian Dream" two weeks ago.

The leader of "European Georgia" says that "Georgian Dream" tries to correct the shortcomings as a result of international pressure, which, according to him, can not serve as the basis for consensus and political agreement.
