Ucha Nanuashvili has spoken about the competition for the position of the Public Defender. The ombudsman has mentioned at the briefing that the candidate must be qualified. According to Ucha Nanuashvili, the position of t society should be considered in the process of selection of the Public Defender.

"I would like to have a candidate who is experienced in working in the field of human rights. Is a professional, independent, with high moral values. I think it is possible to find such a person in Georgia, "Ucha Nanuashvili said.
